The 2026 Performance Evaluation Meeting for Research Universities was held at Middle East Technical University (METU).

During the meeting, Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar, President of the Council of Higher Education (CoHE), announced the 2026 performance evaluation results of 23 research universities and 10 candidate research universities.

Our University rose from 13th to 12th place among research universities in the 2026 performance ranking.
