One of the world’s most prestigious higher education evaluations, the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU), commonly known as the Shanghai Ranking, has announced its 2025 results. Gazi University achieved significant success by securing a place in the 901–1000 band among the world’s top 1000 universities.

Standing out as one of Turkey’s well-established institutions, Gazi University was listed among 11 Turkish universities that made it into the global ranking. Within Turkey, Gazi University ranked in the 9–11 band, placing it among the nation’s top 10 universities.
